The programme LADDER was part of the 4th Assises of Decentralised Cooperation and brought inputs to all the debates and strategies. The event brought hundred of local authorities and civil groups in Brussels at the Committee of the Regions on the 1st and 2nd of June.

The partners of LADDER were invited and spoke to the main sessions on Global Education for Awareness on Development, in particular, David Melua, the Director of the National Association of Local Authorities as well as Alexandru Osdaci, from the Moldovian Congress of Local Authorities.

The LADDER methodolgy has been raised and valorized in all the sessions. The Decentralised Cooperation must be multi actors and multilevel and participative. It focused on the importance to put at the centre of the action the community level. A particular attention should be put on the Neighborhood and the opportunity of Decentralised Cooperation for this georgraphic dimension.

The Assises were also attended by the Secretary General, Antonella Valmorbida and by many members of ALDA active with us in the LDAs.

An information stand was presented the whole days and raised the attention of all the audience for our project.

The busy days continue with the European Development Days and the Launch of LADDER on the 5th of June at the CoR.
